Twitch Is Making It Clear That It's Platform Is Not For DJ Mixes.

With Facebook copyright takedowns becoming the norm and DJs looking to alternative platforms, Twitch offered an easy solution. The service has obviously been swamped with DJs streaming their live sets with Twitch acting swiftly to close the door on non-copyrighted DJ mixes. Twitch are using similar technology to Facebook to block breaches mid-stream. Users are even reporting archived recordings being removed.

Those eagle-eyed streamers have also noticed that Twitch's terms now reflect the hardline stance on the use of non-copyrighted material.

Currently the only legal way to stream online is to use Mixcloud Live or play your own material that you can prove you own the copyright for.
