Hi Drift, great to have you back for for our podcast mix series. What have you been up to so far this year?

Thanks very much, it's great to be back! I had a busy start to the year with the weekly Friday and bi-monthly Drop events at Mangos in Falmouth plus my debut release on Whartone Records in the shape of my two track 808 Bit EP which I'm chuffed to say was well received and gained decent support.

We are smack bang in the middle of the festival season, can we catch you playing anywhere this summer?

A particular highlight for me was being invited to play a two hour set on the laser Shack Stage at the Masked Ball. Beautiful sunshine, incredible views and solid grooves. What more could you ask for? That was an absolute pleasure and one I hope to repeat next year. So with summer in full flow and all of the festies popping off all over the place now should and usually is the busiest time of year for me. But, not this year as I've decided to take a little step back from gigging so much during the summer months so that I can spend some real quality time with my children. I'm still keeping a hand in obviously but only taking on the odd select gig. Getting in at 4/5/6am just as my kids were waking up was really starting to get to me and I just felt that I owed it to them, so that what I'm doing, and I honestly couldn't be happier with that decision. I'm still making plans for future dates and have just been taken on as one of the new residents alongside my very good friend and co Drop DJ Ryan aka Rokaman for the Everyone events in conjunction with Cornish House Movement. These are the guys responsible for the massive Cream Falmouth event with Seb Fontaine at Princess Pavilions recently. We join a solid resident lineup which includes Alex Speller and Mr Woods, and now us which were really pleased about. The next big event will feature the one and only Danny Rampling, which if the previous event is anything to go by, it's going to blow the roof off the Pavilions!

Talk us through this podcast mix.

This particular mix represents the sort of stuff many would of heard me playing over the past few months. Solid groovy House and Tech with dare I say it, an uplifting vibe. I really hope you enjoy it.
