World-renowned DJ Fatboy Slim will play an Eden Session on Saturday 15 June 2024!
The award-winning creator of huge hits such as The Rockafeller Skank, Praise You, and Right Here, Right Now will be bringing his legendary sounds to the Eden Project next summer 2024!
Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, has carved a lasting legacy throughout his multi-decade career. A product of the vibrant Brighton club scene, Cook has graced prestigious stages across the globe, including more than 17 consecutive years at Glastonbury, Coachella, Sziget Festival and the London 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony. His live shows are known for their high energy, unforgettable curation and synchronised visuals, with no sign of slowing down.
Cook’s music has been a part of the fabric of popular culture over the past four decades. His first debut album as Fatboy Slim, Better Living Through Chemistry, was released in 1996 and included UK Cook's music has had a significant impact on popular culture for the past forty years. In 1996, he released his debut album as Fatboy Slim, titled "Better Living Through Chemistry," which featured the UK Top 40 Hit "Everybody Needs A 303".
The 2000 single, Weapon of Choice, featured in the third album by Fatboy Slim, gained critical acclaim and achieved notable success. Its music video, directed by Spike Jonze and featuring acclaimed actor Christopher Walken, received widespread recognition, winning a Grammy and six MTV Video Music Awards.
Fatboy Slim is widely recognized for his contributions to the big beat dance culture and his commitment to pushing boundaries. In a remarkable feat in 2013, he became the inaugural DJ to perform at the esteemed House of Commons. This performance was in support of the Last Night a DJ Saved My Life Foundation, a charitable organization focused on leveraging the transformative power of music to raise funds for grassroots community initiatives.
