Alex Paterson, the creative force behind The Orb, has been captivating audiences for over three decades with his mesmerizing musical expeditions. With a commitment to pushing boundaries and an aversion to being limited by any specific style, Paterson continually evolves and embarks on new and exhilarating projects.

What the organisers say

It’s been over 30 years since Alex Paterson lit the multi-coloured touchpaper on The Orb’s interstellar space odyssey, he continues to swerve, becoming his own tribute act by never standing still and preparing a cluster of fresh new projects. 2023 saw the release of Prism, the eighteenth Orb studio album that diving in to number 15 in the UK album charts - followed by extensive tours of the UK, Europe and the USA. Then, in September 2023, The Orb returned with another collaboration album with Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour. 2024 is looking equally exciting with the next release being announced in December!
