DancersHip is approaching a significant milestone as they celebrate their tenth year in the business. An exciting event is scheduled for June 28th, 2025, at Plymouth's Sawan nightclub, featuring prominent artists Groove Assassin and Richard Earnshaw. This event is shaping up to be a memorable night, highlighting the success and impact of DancersHip over the past decade.

On May 24th, 2025, Plymouth Argyle's Home Park will host a significant dance music event featuring prominent artists such as Gorgon City, Mike Skinner, Armand Van Helden, Ben Nicky, and Ben Hemsley. This event is organised by the team responsible for popular local initiatives like the Casa, Spektra, Low, and Viva Disco events at the Depo venue.

I had the pleasure of catching up with Andy Bacon, the founder of Sonar Events, to dive deeper into what makes Sonar so special, its journey so far, and what we can look forward to this year.

Tim French, a DJ and producer from Plymouth, steps back into our podcast spotlight, known for his Progressive House, Breaks, Melodic, and Techno sound. Hospitality rising artist, Lens is coming to Plymouth for club night Low at the Depo venue on November 15th 2024. With a strong history playing under the brands such as Hospitality and Rinse FM and becoming a regular among festival line ups, Lens is sure to make the Depo walls shake!

Dan O'Donnell, or D.O.D, will perform at Plymouth's DEPO on November 23rd, 2024. A prominent DJ and producer, he is known for high-energy performances that blend Jackin' House with UK influences. Beginning his career at 14, he gained attention after winning Mixmag’s DJ competition in 2010, which led to an Ibiza residency. Collaborating with DJ Laidback Luke, he released tracks on his label and toured North America. D.O.D has multiple #1 hits on Beatport and has worked with artists like Afrojack and Fedde Le Grand. His music has over a hundred million streams, and he has performed at top festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra. He was ranked in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs in 2019 and has exciting collaborations ahead.

Renowned DJs Brandon Block and Alex P, known for their contributions to the clubbing scene in Ibiza during the late 1990s, will perform at the Treasury venue in Plymouth on September 14th, 2024. This event, organised by Sonar, a leading name in the South West's dance music scene, aims to provide an exciting experience for attendees.
