Tell us something positive to inspire future artists.
Learn your craft, there is no fast route to success, to be an over night sensation takes ten years plus. Be true to yourself, get your own sound be humble and just enjoy the ride. Its about the journey not the destination.
What artists have inspired your DJ style?
Sasha & John Digweed have always been my biggest inspirations alongside people like Anthony Pappa, Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Phil Jubb, Richie Piggot, James Holden Tom Middleton to name a few. If its good music delivered well then I will get inspiration from it.
Talk us through your podcast mix track selection.
My mix is very much a condensed version of what I would play at Cosmic sessions and the second half is very much the vibe of that Magnetic souls gig. There's a few sneak peaks of some new releases and remixes and mine coming later this year. We start off deep dubby melodic prog then crank it up a gear with some more melodic driven techno vibing prog and finish off with some breaks for good measure. If you like what you hear pop down to Comics Sessions next time I'm down there and experience it live , I normally do 6 hours sets so you get a good journey.
