We explore the thoughts of artists and music sharing. In today's digital age, discovering new music has become more accessible than ever due to online platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and download services such as Beatport. While traditional methods of exploring music, such as visiting record shops, have diminished in popularity, the process of musical exploration remains significant and enriching, especially when one encounters a standout track. For performing artists, the quest for fresh music is a continuous endeavor, often regarded as equally important as the performance itself. This raises an interesting question: is it appropriate for artists to keep the details of their music sources confidential? This topic invites further discussion from some of the South West DJs and producers on the nature of music discovery in the modern landscape.

Cozzie Watt Summer DnB Mix

Episode 14/19 | Cozzie Watt | Podcast Mixes

A podcast mixes cozzie watt episode 14/19 little south

Cozzie Watt returns to our podcast mix series with a storming DnBDJ session. This is mix has energy from start to finish and is filled with 'big bad bass, rollers, anthems, and a classic'.

Cozzie Watt had this to say:

Hey Little South,

Thanks for having me back for another podcast! It’s been a little while since we spoke, so I guess I should update you with what I’ve been up to.
The biggest thing would be that I got married to Leroy in Las Vegas last year. We spent 3 weeks in California and even DJ’d at Respect DNB in Hollywood. It was the happiest time of my life! Since then, we have been busy making our new home and new music. Musically, Festival season has kicked off and DNB seems much more popular again this year. I recently played at Shindig Festival alongside my husband DJ Leroysupporting the likes of Randall, LTJ Bukem, T>I & Doc Scott. It was amazing, well done Shindig! We attended Glastonbury again this year, making it my tenth year there. It was hot! Some of the gigs in Cornwall so far have included the wicked Lizard Party, fresh DNB nights in Truro for TBC Records, although unfortunately I couldn’t make my set at the Masked Ball due to ill health. I heard it went off with a bang though, and can’t wait to play again soon.

"This podcast mix is a more summer influenced one due to the beautiful weather..."

Upcoming gigs include Boardmasterson the new DB9 Drum and Bass Stage alongside lots of South West DJs, which I am really looking forward to as I’ve attended the festival many many times as a punter. Frendzy is always a brilliant Cornish party, so I’m looking forward to that. Keep up to date on my DJ page for dates as they come up :)

This podcast mix is a more summer influenced one due to the beautiful weather, but still has lots of big bad bass, rollers, anthems, and a classic or too in there as well. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening and I hope to see you on the dance floor soon.
