Plans Submitted For A New Dance Music Festival In Cornwall
The team behind the plans have previously held events with Paul Oakenfold and Fatboy Slim
In an interesting development we have been made aware of plans being submitted for Cornwall to have a brand new dance music festival near Perranporth. The organiser has previously held events with big names headlining but the plans would cater for multiple stages/arenas and include onsite camping.
Hypnosis events have applied for a premises licence suitable for a large dance music festival at Perranporth airfield. Maximum capacity is being capped at 7500 people which is much less than some other more established music festivals. If successful the capacity could be increased in subsequent years.
If this event is well-planned and executed we could see Cornwall's take on Creamfields in the coming years!
Naturally, there have been mixed views about a new dance music festival taking place. Generally the location is supported as it is already home to many other activities including sky diving and racing.
