Tim French Announced As Podcast Mix Of The Year 2022

A year of solid podcast mixes crossing dance music sub-genres.

It really does feel like the year has flown by and you'd be forgiven for thinking we only just announced the winner of Podcast Of The Year 2021, but we have in fact published 22 episodes this year! Each episode delivering the sound that the artist wanted to portray as their current musical direction. Crossing dance music sub-genres we have featured house, trance, hard dance, breakbeat, electro and some filthy drum and bass! The time has come to round up 2022 to applaud the artist that has proven most popular across our platforms to include feature page views and podcast stream play counts/downloads.

We are so pleased to announced that the artist taking the crown for Podcast Mix Of The Year 2022 is Tim French. Tim's progressive house episode really captured the attention of you and resulted in an impressive response in excess of 27,000 combined streams and views. This is a fantastic result for Tim who delivered an exceptionally high quality episode.

We caught up with Tim French to share the good news.

Wow that’s amazing! It really means a lot to know that your followers enjoyed this mix. It was a lot of fun doing it and a great finish to a great year music wise for me.

6. Tokyo Fan Club - Horses (Echonomist Remix) - Bedrock Records 

Tokyo Fan Club are a new collaboration between Luke Brancaccio, Gai Barone & Kiki Cave. This track is taken from the debut album on Bedrock “We Live Electric’ Which is superb and I strongly recommend you check it out. What do you have panned for 2023?

We have some exciting events planned for the summer with Melodic Beats. And I have various gigs booked through out the year.


On the release front I have a lot scheduled already for 2023 starting with “Song For Lynda” on the awesome Stripped Digital featuring a beautiful organic mix from Kamilo Sanclemente + Andre Moret out Jan 18th on all platforms.
