What the organisers say

BARE's launch party on 22nd April 2023 is a rare opportunity to see a true legend in an intimate club venue. Ray Keith is the perfect artist for our launch party as he personifies BARE's ethos to be aware of the foundations of our beautiful scene and to use these to support us to grow into the future - rooted in the past but not stuck there.

Ray Keith is regarded as the Godfather of D&B and is one of the pioneers of the jungle and drum and bass scene. From the foundations he helped to create he has remained at the forefront of DnB as a DJ, producer and record label owner. His Dread Recordings label has continued to promote independent artists for almost 30 years.

If you've ever listened to his Thames Delta Radio shows online or read his book Dark Soldier, you will know he's also a really great guy. We can't wait to welcome him to The Attic, a venue which prides itself on supporting underground music.

Support on the night comes from BARE residents and our special guests EMU, Miss Trixsta and Apricity.

This promises to be a night to remember and the beginning of something really special
