We had a few gremlins getting this mix out there but we are pleased to finally be able to feature a fresh techno mix courtesy of Alex Stafford.
Hi, Please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your DJ life.
My unique style of DJing doesn’t evolve around a particular or specific genre, but a variety of styles which I like to venture out to and be involved in. Whatever I’m mixing, I like to keep the blends tight and keep my audience entertained, it’s like taking you on a journey. I’ve got a broad knowledge of music, and always strive to improve it, allowing me to create diverse content that my viewers and listeners will enjoy. I always give my best efforts into every set, making sure I deliver quality. House, Techno, Trance, Drum and Bass are the genres I like to put my time into. However, I am always open to new sounds and obtain new ideas for music, advice, recommendations and general input from others I take onboard.
Tell us how you have kept busy during the last year or so of lockdowns.
I’ve utilised the lockdowns by going deeper into different sounds of genres, tightening up loose ends on my mixing ability. Progressing further with my YouTube channel, posting more content and full recorded mixes for my viewers.
Talk us through this podcast episode and why you have chosen to include the tracks that have made the cut.
The tracks I have selected have all been from recent end 2021/22 releases. I have used a broad selection of artists that make up the current, up to date music. Varying from melodic and electronic styles to more dark , stripped back techno, whilst maintaining a solid vibe that comes with the genre. This podcast has it’s bright highs and dark lows, featuring Artists like Patrik Berg, Space 92, Three Drives on a Vinyl, Deborah de Luca, Teenage Mutants, and many more.
