We explore the thoughts of artists and music sharing. In today's digital age, discovering new music has become more accessible than ever due to online platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and download services such as Beatport. While traditional methods of exploring music, such as visiting record shops, have diminished in popularity, the process of musical exploration remains significant and enriching, especially when one encounters a standout track. For performing artists, the quest for fresh music is a continuous endeavor, often regarded as equally important as the performance itself. This raises an interesting question: is it appropriate for artists to keep the details of their music sources confidential? This topic invites further discussion from some of the South West DJs and producers on the nature of music discovery in the modern landscape.

Steve Lid

Steve need little in the way of introduction as he has been one of the most prolific DJ's on the South West dance music scene for many years.
Have also played all over the country for the likes of Slinky, Gatecrasher, Cream, Ministry of Sound.

Former resident at Tall Trees and the massive Virus events in Newquay, alongside regular appearances at Plymouths legendary bastion of Hard Dance, the Dance Academy. Having played alongside practically every big name on the hard Dance and Trance scene. Playing sets at the massive Tidy Weekenders to Slinky at the Opera House in Bournemouth it's safe to say Steve Has seen his fair share of success over the years and we are stoked to be able to bring him into the Drop fold for an exclusive Tech House set just for you.

Devin

Having burst onto the Cornish scene Devin has been making waves over the last few years with his particular brand of groove laden Tech. Recently seen at the Halloween Masked ball , he is a mainstay with the Durty Disco crew seeing them curating arenas and stage take-overs at Boardmasters, Masked Ball and Leopalooza festivals to name but a few.
Dev has been a favourite fo ours for some time now and we are chuffed to welcome him back to Drop at our new home, Mangos.
